Internet providers in Benicia?

OK so With a population of 26,861, Benicia is a smaller city. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. The median home value here is around $778,600, which is pretty steep. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Has anyone dealt with this? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I've lived in Pine Hills for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Active local events and festivals
- The outdoor recreation scene is tough

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Urban sprawl is real

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I work in finance here and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Definitely worth checking out..

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in The Heights for 11 years. Moved from Seattle for quality of life. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is improving. We bought in 2016 at k and it's now worth up significantly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.

**Employment:**
retail is strong here. construction is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are competitive for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I love the pace of life here. The outdoor scene is decent - we have national forests within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. The Heights schools are improving. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Winters are long and cold. Nightlife is limited. And traffic can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For families, I'd say this is a 6/10. Give it a chance - it might surprise you.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. school system used to be much established but now it's surprisingly good.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a project manager, 55, moved here 10 years ago from Houston. I've lived in Sunset and Westside, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Low crime in most neighborhoods
2. Good healthcare facilities
3. Strong sense of community
4. The people are generally decent - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Limited high-paying job options
2. Homeless population growing downtown
3. The pet-friendliness situation is growing and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Sunset: Great for couples. underrated vibes, walkable.
- Westside: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Houston, everything felt underrated. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are established. Gas is stable. You can live comfortably on $70K-$120K here.

**Final verdict:**
Good luck with whatever you decide.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

I've lived in The Heights for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Strong job market in several industries
- The nightlife scene is tough

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for retirees. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
