Weekend activities in Benicia?

Longtime lurker here, Poverty rate is 6.2%, which is pretty low. With a population of 26,861, Benicia is a smaller city. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much pricey but now it's surprisingly good.

Bought a house here in 2022 and it's not perfect but it works for me. Property values have gone about the same since then.
