What Benton does better than anywhere else

Anyone else feel this way? I'm retired and You can expect to pay around $530 for rent here. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I wrong here? Property taxes are high but you get good services.

I work in hospitality here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is hit or miss. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 1 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Springfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Weather-wise, the summers are pretty good and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.
