Is Berea getting better or worse?

Hey, I'm a 43-year-old lawyer and Rent is about $806/month for a decent place. It's a a small town city with about 15,557 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Should I be concerned? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

I'm a data analyst and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 8 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is improving.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Hot take but it exceeded my expectations. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.
