Things Bergenfield needs to improve
First post here. Been living here since 2015. Poverty rate is 6.0%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 28,269 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Bergenfield sits at 54.7 per 100K. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
