Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Does this match your experience?

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Meadowbrook. It's excellent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Thai.
