What Bethany does better than anywhere else

Been meaning to ask this. I grew up here but left for a while. Poverty rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. With a population of 31,700, Bethany is a smaller city. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Worth the trade-offs? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I'm a electrician and I've found the quality of life is solid. The community is average and there's always something going on.

As someone who grew up here, I genuinely enjoy living here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much wild but now it's improving.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in Cedar Grove for 8 years. Moved from Phoenix for quality of life. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is hit or miss. We bought in 2017 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.

**Employment:**
marketing is strong here. healthcare is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are wild for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I genuinely enjoy living here. The outdoor scene is decent - we have desert landscapes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Cedar Grove schools are excellent. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Nightlife is limited. Limited entertainment options. And dating scene can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For retirees, I'd say this is a 7/10. Good luck with whatever you decide.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are challenging, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
