What I wish I knew before living in Bethany

OK so I grew up here but left for a while. Rent is about $2,227/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $164,315 in Bethany. Poverty rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Pros:
- Good job market
- Close to nature
- Walkable downtown
- Plenty of shopping options

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Hot summers
- Rising rent prices
- Limited nightlife
Worth the trade-offs? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Came here for quality of life and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The outdoor recreation is honestly decent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is excellent in most areas.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
