Not sure if this has been asked before, but We're a young couple and With a population of 33,070, Bethel Park is a smaller city. The median home value here is around $258,700, which seems about average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Worth the trade-offs? Thanks in advance!

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
