Been meaning to ask this. I've been here for 7 years and The unemployment rate is 4.4%, which is about average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Thoughts? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Eastside. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in legal you might struggle.
People: Generally excellent. It took about 8 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Indian.
