Hey everyone, My family moved here when I was a kid. With a population of 31,955, Beverly Hills is a smaller city. Crime rate is something to consider -Beverly Hills sits at 301.1 per 100K. Homes are going for about $2,000,001 on average. The unemployment rate is 5.0%, which is about average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Used to live on the Cedar Grove side, now on the Greenfield side. Completely different vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community vibe is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Hot take but I love the pace of life here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 3 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Bought a house here in 2019 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, Hope this helps!.
