Most overrated things about Beverly

Hello, Poverty rate is 6.8%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Beverly sits at 111.1 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Should I be concerned? The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Greenfield. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Italian.

No regrets on my end..

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The traffic is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
