Bexley vs San Diego -which is better?

Curious what people think. My family moved here when I was a kid. Median household income is $152,526, which feels pretty solid for the area. The unemployment rate is 2.4%, which is pretty low. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Maple Ridge. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in education. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in North. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Definitely worth checking out..
