Remote worker thinking about Big Bear City

Curious what people think. Rent is about $1,454/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What are your go-to spots? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Bought a house here in 2019 and I love the pace of life here. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, the quality of life is solid. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
