First time home buyer in Billings

First post here. The unemployment rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,097/month for a decent place. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What do you all think?

As someone who grew up here, I genuinely enjoy living here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much affordable but now it's hit or miss.
