How is Billings for outdoor activities?

Homes are going for about $311,800 on average. Median household income is $71,855, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $311,800, which seems about average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What do you all think? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it was the best decision I ever made. Compared to Houston it's average.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want weather, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
