I'm originally from Seattle and The median home value here is around $311,800, which seems about average. Homes are going for about $311,800 on average. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What would you do? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
