Is Bishop good for remote workers?

First post here. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The city has invested a lot in new development.

I work in manufacturing here and it's been a really good experience overall. The job market for my field is average. Hope this helps!.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth checking out..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 8 years and it's not perfect but it works for me. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Uptown side vs the Fairview side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
