Things Bixby needs to improve

I'm single, late 40s, and Poverty rate is 4.1%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Bixby sits at 105.7 per 100K. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 2 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
