Poverty rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. Average temperature is around 44--F, so bundle up in winter. Rent is about $718/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Easy commute
- Good healthcare facilities
Cons:
- Hot summers
- Sprawl everywhere
- Not very walkable
- Not enough green space
