Is Blackhawk walkable?

First post here. Homes are going for about $1,948,900 on average. Average temperature is around 58--F, so the weather is moderate. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Should I be concerned? Any help is appreciated. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 1-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to Houston it's tough.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
