The good and bad of living in Blacklick Estates
I'm originally from Salt Lake City and Homes are going for about $152,000 on average. The unemployment rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $152,000, which is actually reasonable. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
Pros:

- Nice parks and trails
- Low crime in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
Cons:
- Hot summers
- Not very walkable
- Homelessness issues downtown
Is this normal for Blacklick Estates? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
