Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Household incomes average around $55,517 in Bladenboro. It's a a small town city with about 2,181 people. Poverty rate is 13.9%, which is around average. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Has anyone dealt with this? The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in Westside for 14 years. Moved from Tampa for school. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is underrated. We bought in 2022 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts.
**Employment:**
education is strong here. education is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are developing for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor scene is average - we have desert landscapes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Westside schools are challenging. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited public transit options. Limited entertainment options. And healthcare can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
For young professionals, I'd say this is a 7/10. No regrets on my end.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

I'm a writer and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.
