Quick question about Blanchester

The unemployment rate is 7.0%, which is concerning. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Homes are going for about $160,200 on average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What are your go-to spots? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I've lived in East for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The community vibe scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Happy to answer more specific questions..
