Bloomingdale housing prices -when will it stop?

Curious what people think. I'm a 33-year-old contractor and Crime rate is something to consider -Bloomingdale sits at 464.0 per 100K. The median home value here is around $377,000, which seems about average. Homes are going for about $377,000 on average. Household incomes average around $107,313 in Bloomingdale. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Does this match your experience? The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Uptown area are solid. Kids love it here.

Bought a house here in 2023 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 1 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Meadowbrook side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
