Studio apartments in Bloomington -options?

Been meaning to ask this. Poverty rate is 12.0%, which is around average. Crime rate is something to consider -Bloomington sits at 319.9 per 100K. The median home value here is around $443,300, which is pretty steep. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Anyone in a similar situation? Cheers. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good internet infrastructure
- The school system scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Happy to answer more specific questions..
