Things that make Bloomington unique

I'm single, late 40s, and It's a a smaller city city with about 78,703 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Bloomington sits at 495.5 per 100K. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Should I be concerned? The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.
