Working remotely from Bloomington — my experience

I've been working remotely from Bloomington for 9 years now. Here's my take:

The pace of life here is perfect for remote work. No crazy commute stress, affordable living, and enough amenities to not feel isolated.

Cost of living: pretty reasonable
Internet: Decent, getting better with new providers
Coworking spaces: Limited but the library works in a pinch

If you're looking for a place to WFH, Bloomington is underrated for remote workers.

Great post! One thing I'd mention is the west side tends to be more affordable. Makes a big difference.

Rent tip: look for places in October-November. Prices drop and there's more availability.

I've lived in Cedar Hills for 15 years and it's a hidden gem honestly.

If you can afford it, Oakwood is the best place to live. Period.
