Couple moving to Bloomsburg from out of state

Longtime lurker here, I'm a remote worker and Homes are going for about $186,100 on average. With a population of 12,906, Bloomsburg is a small town. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Thanks! It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

I've lived in Midtown for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Affordable housing options
- The food scene scene is tough

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for young professionals. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
