Anyone else feel this way? My partner and I are Homes are going for about $365,700 on average. The unemployment rate is 1.1%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for reading. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The community vibe is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.
I've been here 6 years and it's been a really good experience overall. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is underrated.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
