Studio apartments in Blue Ridge -options?

I relocated for work and It's a a small town city with about 1,375 people. Average temperature is around 68--F, so the weather is moderate. Crime rate is something to consider -Blue Ridge sits at 303.7 per 100K. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

I've lived in Sunset for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The healthcare scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Good luck with whatever you decide..
