Anyone else feel this way? I grew up here but left for a while. Crime rate is something to consider -Bluffton sits at 185.4 per 100K. Rent is about $2,187/month for a decent place. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. No regrets on my end..

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. traffic used to be much manageable but now it's hit or miss.

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 15 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I work in hospitality here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is tough. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
