So, I grew up here but left for a while. It's a a small town city with about 13,026 people. Household incomes average around $49,928 in Blytheville. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I've lived in Highland for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Active local events and festivals
- Affordable housing options
- The community vibe scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Urban sprawl is real
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
