Worst things about Blytheville nobody talks about

First post here. My family moved here when I was a kid. Crime rate is something to consider -Blytheville sits at 809.3 per 100K. Average temperature is around 61--F, so the weather is moderate. Poverty rate is 13.3%, which is around average. You can expect to pay around $789 for rent here. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Growing food scene
- Easy commute
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons:
- Cold winters
- Rising rent prices
- Not very walkable
- Chain restaurants dominate
Would love some local perspective. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
