Job hunting in Boaz -tips?

Hey everyone, My family moved here when I was a kid. Crime rate is something to consider -Boaz sits at 369.3 per 100K. Average temperature is around 62--F, so the weather is moderate. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Anyone in a similar situation? Any help is appreciated. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Good internet infrastructure
- The outdoor recreation scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
