Affordable areas near Boca Raton?

Alright, Poverty rate is 5.0%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 98,833 people. Homes are going for about $660,100 on average. The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. You can expect to pay around $2,334 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Low crime in most areas
- Good schools
- Close to nature

Cons:
- Rising rent prices
- Limited dining options
- Lack of diversity
- Poor road conditions
- Limited cultural events
What would you do? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cost of living, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely underrated and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Greenfield) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Salt Lake City, be prepared for the culture shock. cultural scene is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
