What I wish I knew before living in Bogalusa

Hey, I'm a teacher here and The median home value here is around $107,000, which is actually reasonable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Does this match your experience? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 7 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The safety is challenging compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..
