Internet providers in Bogart?

Been meaning to ask this. Military spouse here. The median home value here is around $239,400, which is actually reasonable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a social worker who relocated here from Portland about 7 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Growing food and restaurant scene

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are pricey, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 2 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

Hot take but it's exactly what I was looking for. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Eastside for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The dating scene scene is tough

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value safety, you'll love it. The nightlife is genuinely improving and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Highland) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Atlanta, be prepared for the culture shock. community vibe is completely different here. And Limited high-paying job options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is pretty good in most areas.
