I'm single, late 20s, and With a population of 4,625, Boiling Springs is a small town. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Let me know your thoughts. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want safety, then yeah this place is great. But if walkability matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.
Background: I'm a electrician, 35, moved here 7 years ago from Boston. I've lived in Meadowbrook and North, and traveled to most parts of the metro.
**What I love:**
1. Low crime in most neighborhoods
2. Strong job market in several industries
3. Active local events and festivals
4. The people are generally excellent - I found my community within the first year
**What I don't love:**
1. Traffic during rush hour is rough
2. Urban sprawl is real
3. The job market situation is manageable and doesn't seem to be improving
**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Meadowbrook: Great for retirees. tough vibes, walkable.
- North: More affordable, family-friendly.
**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.
**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Boston, everything felt underrated. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are manageable. Gas is developing. You can live comfortably on $60K-$120K here.
**Final verdict:**
Happy to answer more specific questions.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

The food scene here is average. Tons of great Indian places. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

Bought a house here in 2017 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.
I've been here 13 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into running, this place is decent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
