Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm originally from San Francisco and Household incomes average around $107,552 in Bolingbrook. Homes are going for about $295,500 on average. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Would love some local perspective. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
