Is Bolingbrook walkable?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but My partner and I are Homes are going for about $295,500 on average. You can expect to pay around $1,718 for rent here. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Should I be concerned?

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it was the best decision I ever made. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Compared to Nashville it's decent.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value school system, you'll love it. The job market is genuinely solid and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. My neighborhood (Westside) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Nashville, be prepared for the culture shock. community vibe is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Bought a house here in 2015 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone up significantly since then.
