Anyone else feel this way? I work in energy and Household incomes average around $117,750 in Bonita. The unemployment rate is 3.2%, which is pretty low. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Does this match your experience? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Boston about 7 years ago. The main reasons were school and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Property taxes are high
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are established, gas is decent.
Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Feel free to reach out with questions..
