First post here. It's a a small town city with about 2,615 people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Thoughts? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

The food scene here is average. Tons of great Southern places. it was the best decision I ever made.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it was the best decision I ever made. Internet is solid in most areas.

Moved here from Austin about 5 years ago. I have mixed feelings honestly. Still getting used to community vibe but Good luck with whatever you decide..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it was the best decision I ever made. Compared to Denver it's hit or miss.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The cost of living scene is decent
The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Far from beaches/mountains
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for young professionals. Hope this helps!.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a accountant who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 12 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a fresh start.
Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Good schools in most areas
- Lots of new development happening
Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are manageable, gas is tough.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Definitely worth checking out..
