Grocery stores in Bonney Lake -recommendations?

Been meaning to ask this. Crime rate is something to consider -Bonney Lake sits at 162.2 per 100K. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. Am I wrong here? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Weather-wise, the summers are challenging and winters are wild. You get used to it after the first year.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Sunset. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in marketing. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 15 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The The Heights side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

Used to live on the Riverside side, now on the Pine Hills side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.

Came here for work and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The safety is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've lived in Midtown for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good healthcare facilities
- The housing market scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Can feel isolated

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. Feel free to reach out with questions..
