Boone vs Baltimore -which is better?

Alright, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and The median home value here is around $156,400, which is actually reasonable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Worth the trade-offs? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 11 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- The cultural scene scene is tough

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Nightlife is limited

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. No regrets on my end..
