First time home buyer in Boonville
Hey folks, Military spouse here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Is this normal for Boonville?

I've lived in Lakewood for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good internet infrastructure
- The dating scene scene is challenging
The downsides:
- Road conditions need improvement
- Homeless population growing downtown
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Feel free to reach out with questions..
