Things Borger needs to improve

First post here. I'm a 38-year-old HR manager and You can expect to pay around $833 for rent here. The median home value here is around $90,000, which is actually reasonable. Household incomes average around $59,031 in Borger. Median household income is $59,031, which feels about average for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Any advice would be great. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

I'm a teacher and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. The community is solid and there's always something going on.

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 2 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Bought a house here in 2019 and the quality of life is solid. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is surprisingly good in most areas.
