Should I move to Boston or stay in Chicago?

Hey folks, We have two kids and Rent is about $2,093/month for a decent place. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Any advice would be great.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 9 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is weather. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Sunset side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Used to live on the Highland side, now on the West side. Completely different vibe. the quality of life is solid.

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in Meadowbrook area are tough. Kids love it here.
