Grocery stores in Bothell East -recommendations?

Hello, Poverty rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 14,487 people. Household incomes average around $189,519 in Bothell East. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. Should I be concerned? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value safety, you'll love it. The cultural scene is genuinely excellent and I've found it's exactly what I was looking for. My neighborhood (Sunset) is competitive and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Raleigh, be prepared for the culture shock. pet-friendliness is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

I've lived in Lakewood for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Four distinct seasons
- The housing market scene is solid

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 14 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the walkability is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is excellent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

I've lived in Eastside for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from San Francisco, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Lots of new development happening
- The traffic scene is solid

The downsides:
- Limited shopping options
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Hot take but it's exactly what I was looking for. I know a lot of people disagree but after 4 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I love the pace of life here. Happy to answer more specific questions..
