How is the nightlife in Bothell?

First post here. Just moved here 9 months ago and The median home value here is around $871,300, which is pretty steep. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Any advice would be great. Any help is appreciated. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is pet-friendliness. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Used to live on the Pine Hills side, now on the Downtown side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value nightlife, you'll love it. The weather is genuinely average and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Old Town) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from San Francisco, be prepared for the culture shock. public transit is completely different here. And Winters are long and cold.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
